Happy Australia Day

Happy Australia Day to all those Aussies and I for one, know that we live in the lucky country and I'm very pleased I was born here.  We had my family over for our Australian Day Lunch and normally we have a BBQ, however as 2 of my sisters and I made Mozzarella Cheese with our Cheese Making kits on Friday we decided to do pizza's instead.  We had a great day and lots of yummy food including Pavlova and Lamingtons.  I hope everyone enjoyed their Australia Day celebrations.

  1. Happy Australia day, Kathy. Hope you didn't get rained out at times today, I'm in Brisbane too and it drizzled off and on, and then the wind roared and then it was sunny! My sister in law and I have made feta twice recently and ricotta, we liked the Green Living recipe best (kits also for Christmas presents). I think Camembert is looking good, nothing like aiming high. Melindi

  2. Melindi we were fine, the wind did pick up but it was quite pleasant. Mozzarella was the first cheese we made and I'll be doing a post on that shortly. Would love to hear how your Camembert goes. Regards Kathy

  4. Making bread is such a fulfilling task. Nothing quite like eating the food you've made xx
