Since my first Rag Quilt I made for Sienna's birthday last week was such a hit with both my children I decided to buy some fabric to make one for James. Since his birthday is in November I won't be able to make it for a special occasion and will just give it to him when it's finished. It's nice to snuggle up on the couch with a blanket in winter watching TV so yesterday I bought some bright boy fabrics. I haven't shown him the fabrics or told him I had purchased them as I want to keep it as a surprise so that means cutting etc. will be done when he is asleep at night or when he is at school.
And on the veggie front, here are my first ripe cherry tomatoes I picked yesterday which I've been waiting for a while for. In fact these tomato bushes were self sewn plants. I had some on my sandwich for lunch and they were delicious.
You found some fabrics! Yah! Boys fabrics are always tough- I have way more fabric for my little girl than I do for my boys!
ReplyDeleteI was happy with these ones but that's about what that had but it will look good. Thought I might do some cutting tonight. Regards Kathy
