The kids made half with sultanas and half without as Sienna doesn't like them but loves the hot cross buns.

The kids making damper on a stick for afternoon tea. This picnic ground with wood fires is about 10 minutes drive from our house.
Once they are cooked we pour "Golden Syrup" into the middle of them, so yummy. Recipe is here.

ReplyDeleteSchool holidays start next week here, I may just be borrowing a few of these ideas to keep the kids occupied!
It's so refreshing to see kids enjoying the simple things in life instead of stuck inside glued to the computer or Ipad.
