Around here - it's my Birthday

Today is the 15th September, 2023 and it's my Birthday.  I started my Birthday Tradition photo series back in 2006 when my daughter was 6 months old and it sort of became a thing.  Here's 18 years of my "Birthday series photo".  We took the 2023 photo yesterday afternoon as both kids have commitments this afternoon.  I decided not to wear black this year because every other year I had black on and I did my hair straight instead of out so next year it's back to black and not straight hair as I prefer it that way.  The main thing is, it's a memory with my kids on my Birthday and a precious photo project for me.

 

Around Here - Lightscape at the Botanical Gardens

My sisters and I went to a Light Show in the Brisbane Botanical Gardens last night called "LIGHTSCAPE" which was great.  It was a 2km trail of lights with music which took 1.5 hours.  You pick your arrival time and are in that 10 minute time slot to go in so as to manage the flow of people.  We had a 7pm time slot and got there early at 6.30pm and they let us in however on a Friday or Saturday night as there would be more people you may have to get your allocated time slot.  It was so pretty and the music was beautiful too.  My photos don't do it justice compared to being there in person however here's some pictures from our night out.
