Around here - Jacaranda Season

Brisbane is looking so great with the beautiful Jacaranda trees in full bloom.  There are pops of purple throughout the suburbs everywhere you look which is so pretty.  Here's a link to lots of images of these trees in Brisbane.

  1. Jacarandas always remind me of exam time as I used to work at a school. We have one growing out the front that we didn't plant. It is too close to the house and has to come out.

  3. There are many Jacarandas planted in our leafy pocket of suburbia, Kathy. I love the way the flowers fall and make a purple carpet underneath. So very beautiful. MegXx

    1. Isn't the internet wonderful...as a child we had a set of encyclopedias and that was the only way we could look up information let alone connect with people around the world. We have a lot to be grateful for. Have a good week Alexa.
