We are nearing the end of the year and what a year it's been. We are so lucky in Australia and particularly Queensland that we have been so safe from the Pandemic. Life in Brisbane seems pretty normal and here's hoping that continues. Our borders are open to the rest of the country and my sister from Perth is coming over for Christmas this year.
My niece [her daughter] finally got married on the 27th November in Perth and whilst our family were travelling over to Perth in April this year for the original wedding date, it wasn't possible for us to travel this time round. The wedding went off without a hitch and the photos were beautiful.
Kathy, what lovely photos. Such a shame though that you weren't able to go to the wedding. What a year it has been!
ReplyDeleteThanks...yes such a crazy year, I think we had all accepted it back in March we wouldn't make the wedding and it is what it is however the day went beautifully according to the Bride and also my sister.
DeleteStunning photos - aren't they all so beautiful/handsome? Glad things are calm where you are ... We are in the thick of it here, in Tier 3 restrictions (no cafés, pubs, hotels, accommodation open), no visitors allowed (unless you're in a care bubble with them), no meeting others except out in a park and then two metres apart with masks on. We may be able to meet up with another household at Christmas but it's not clear yet. Covid numbers still rising. :(.
ReplyDeleteHope you have a great Christmas no matter what that looks like. Here's to a better 2021. Thanks for stopping by and taking time to comment.
DeleteSuch beautiful photos, Kathy, full of happiness. I'm sure you were sad to miss it; this year has certainly upset so many plans.
ReplyDeleteWe saw a couple having their wedding photos taken on the beach here on Straddie today. Weddings are such joyful occasions.
